Beth joined Riverbank Dental in February 2015 on a part-time basis.  She passed her dental nursing examsin 2016 and is now working with us full time.  Beth has also obtained her Dental Nursing Radiography qualification.

Lynsey Mailer BDS (Hons) (Glasg 2014) MFDS RCPS (Glasg)

Lynsey joined us in August 2014 and has very quickly become popular with staff and patients alike.  As an undergraduate, Lynsey  volunteered at a dental clinic in Fiji, providing emergency care to the local population.  In her spare time Lynsey enjoys going to the gym, baking and socialising with friends and family.

Susan has been a dental nurse since 2005 and qualified in 2009.  Susan  joined Knightswood Dental Practice in 2010.  A people person, Susan loves her job.  Outside work she likes socialising with family and friends and going to concerts.

Rachel began dental nursing in 2002 and qualified in 2006.  Shejoined Knightswood Dental Practice in 2007.  Outwith work Rachel enjoys teaching at a local dance school and spending time with family and friends.

Team site visit late 2014- we're all very excited to see the progress of our new home.  Our team has grown significantly in numbers and we now have 5 dentists and 8 qualified dental nureses and one trainee dental nurse working from the practice.

Danielle began dental nursing in October 2011, and joined Riverbank Dental in August 2017.  Danielle likes going on holiday, socialising with friends and family and loves spending time with her dogs.

Our Team - working together for you


Over the years we've built a fantastic team.  Each team member has been hand picked by practice principal Andrew Leitch to complement our exisiting team and our practice ethos.  Many of our dental nurses have been with us for several years, and although our relocation to Yoker has resulted in a rapid increase in staffing levels, we've worked hard to ensure that we all work well together as a team and continue to provide an excellent standard of patient care. We're committed to expanding and re-inforcing our skills in a supportive environment - you may find the dentists working together during your appointment to provide the very best of care, or find that one of our nurses qualified in dental radiography takes your x-rays under the supervision of a dentist.

Jenny Leitch LLB, Practice Manager


Jenny has been with the practice since it opened as Knightswood Dental Practice in 2006.  Jenny is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the practice.

Andrew Leitch BDS (Glasg 1996)

Andrew graduated in 1996 from Glasgow Dental School and spent 10 years working in mixed NHS and private practices in Scotland, before setting up his own practice, Knightswood Dental Practice. He has a strong commitment to providing treatment under the NHS and has special interests in preventative and restorative dentistry, and is currently in the final stages of an MSc. in Primary Dental Care.
